Your Thor washer/dryer comes with a standard three-prong plug and operates on 110 volt household appliances current. On average, Thor's annual energy cost for single household appliances use is 75 percent less than a typical stand-alone washer and dryer set. Widely hailed as one of the top ten inventions of the last century, Thor washers quickly became a staple in American households, thus establishing the Thor brand as a symbol of quality and innovation. Like many new products of its time, the Thor Washer made life easier by taking much of the labor out of a once arduous task. A machine could now handle the washing duties, freeing up many hours that before were spent scrubbing laundry. Thor Appliance Company, a Los Angeles, CA-based manufacturer and retailer of specialty household appliances, unveiled on Wednesday its new front-loading SoftLine(R) laundry system, reportedly the largest capacity washer dryer combo available in North America. Using a standard screwdriver, remove the large bolt located top-center on the rear of the machine. The round washer held in place by the packing bolt should also be removed. (See Photo) Note; newer SoftLine model washer/dryers may include a metal bar across the top-rear of the machine. This bar is a packing brace and must also be removed before operation.). Next, remove the two remaining bolts located on the middle-left and middle-right side on the back of the machine. (See Photo).
